Charlie was born at Birmingham City hospital, she was quickly moved to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital where she stayed for 7 weeks. She was in and out of hospital in the first 12 months with chest infections, an operation after which she had a stroke and has been continuously monitored since birth.
We as a charity raise money to support the Hospital’s Heart Unit with funding for much needed research into Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) to hopefully understand, identify and treat this condition, enabling the children to live full active lives and for parents to cope with their child’s condition.
Over our years of fundraising, with driven volunteers, we have donated over £100,000 to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Heart Unit and will continue to do all we can, to continue this good work.
You can help by donating, sharing our story and joining in our fundraising activities.
