I’m writing to confirm that the next charity golf day in the name of John will be held on Friday 22nd June at John’s old course, Fulford Heath, Tanners Green Lane, Wythall, Birmingham, Worcester B7 6BH
The day will consist of coffee and bacon roll, 18 holes of golf and a three course meal allfor £40 per person. If you are not a golf player but would still like to join us this is of course possible at a reduced cost.
The first tee-off time will be 10am with dinner arranged for approximately 4pm meaning an earlier finish to the day.
We will be playing full stapleford rules, with full handicap being allowed, maximum male 28, ladies 36, with the two best scores on each hole counting. There will also be trophies for the nearest the pin and the longest drive and the overall winner will take the prize trophy home with them. The winner of the John’s hole trophy, the 17th, will also have the accolade of taking home the award as returned by last year’s winner Stewart Wilson.
If anyone would like to sponsor a hole please click here
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Charlie Ramsey Research Fund and also Zoe’s Place, both charities of which were close to John, so if you could all bring a raffle prize it would be appreciated.
I’m sure none of us can believe that time has gone so quickly so I hope that you can attend again and raise a further glass to John on the day.
Please let me know by return if you are able to play and advise if you will need a buggy. Also if you know of anyone else who may want to attend please feel free to pass this invite on.
